ABOUT SARAH GOWAYED
A homeschooling mother of three with ten years of homeschooling experience in grades pre-K through 12th grade, Sarah Gowayed is an author of children’s books, a public speaker, and a homeschool consultant. She is the founder and CEO of Sound Heart Kids, a children’s publishing company and president and founder of Muslim Homeschool Association, America’s first national Muslim homeschool organization. She previously co-founded Tarbiyah Academy, an Islamic school in Elkridge, MD.
Sarah earned her B.A. in Journalism from University of Maryland College Park and M.B.A. from Saint Joseph's University. She is currently a student of knowledge at Miftaah Institute's Online Seminary.Serving as Scoutmaster of a Scouts BSA troop, Sarah is passionate about inspiring youth through education, great stories, and nature.
